Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions explain the rules for using the Sigma Studios website and working with Sigma Studios for video production, video editing, post-production, social media content, and related creative services.

By using our website, contacting us, requesting a quote, booking a service, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. About Sigma Studios

Sigma Studios provides creative media services, including:

  • Video editing
  • Video production
  • Corporate videos
  • Real estate videos
  • Wedding edits
  • Event highlights
  • Music videos
  • Sports edits
  • Reels and short-form content
  • YouTube videos
  • VSLs
  • Social media content
  • Motion graphics and post-production

2. Use of Our Website

You agree not to:

  • Misuse our website
  • Copy website content without permission
  • Attempt to hack, damage, overload, or disrupt the website
  • Submit false, harmful, illegal, or misleading information
  • Use our content, portfolio, images, videos, or text without written approval

We may restrict access to the website or services if misuse is detected.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Prices may vary based on:

  • Project type
  • Project length
  • Complexity
  • Turnaround time
  • Number of videos
  • Footage volume
  • Editing style
  • Motion graphics or VFX needs
  • Revisions required
  • Licensing needs
  • Shooting location and production requirements

A quote is valid only for the scope mentioned in the proposal, message, invoice, or agreement.

Any extra work outside the agreed scope may require an added fee.

4. Booking and Payment

Work may begin after the agreed advance payment, full payment, or written confirmation.

Payment terms will be shared in the invoice, proposal, or project agreement.

The client is responsible for providing correct payment details, billing details, project instructions, and required files.

Late payments may delay delivery.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client must provide:

  • Clear project brief
  • Footage, images, logos, brand files, scripts, references, or other required materials
  • Accurate instructions
  • Timely feedback
  • Required permissions for any third-party content
  • Final approval before publishing

Sigma Studios is not responsible for delays caused by missing files, unclear instructions, late feedback, or client-side approval delays.

6. Revisions

Revisions are based on the agreed package, proposal, or project scope.

A revision means reasonable changes to the existing agreed direction.

Revisions may not include:

  • A completely new concept
  • New script after editing has started
  • Major structure change after approval
  • Extra video versions not included in the quote
  • New footage added after the edit is nearly complete
  • Changes caused by wrong or incomplete client instructions

Major changes may require an added fee.

7. Turnaround Time

Estimated delivery times are shared before or during the project.

Delivery time may change based on:

  • Late file delivery
  • Delayed feedback
  • Large footage size
  • Technical issues
  • Extra revision requests
  • Changes in project scope
  • Urgent client-side changes

We aim to meet agreed timelines, but final delivery depends on smooth communication and timely approvals.

8. Project Files and Raw Files

Final deliverables will be shared in the agreed format.

Raw project files, editable files, timelines, After Effects files, Premiere Pro files, source files, or working files are not included by default.

If the client needs project files, this must be discussed and priced separately before or during the project.

9. Ownership and Usage Rights

After full payment, the client receives the agreed final deliverables for business, marketing, social media, or personal use, based on the project type.

Sigma Studios retains ownership of:

  • Editing process
  • Project structure
  • Templates
  • Presets
  • Internal workflows
  • Unused concepts
  • Drafts
  • Source project files, unless agreed otherwise

The client must own or have permission to use all footage, music, logos, images, voiceovers, scripts, and other materials supplied to Sigma Studios.

10. Music, Stock Footage, Fonts, and Third-Party Assets

Some projects may use licensed music, stock footage, fonts, templates, plugins, or third-party assets.

The client is responsible for any license fee if such assets are requested or required.

Sigma Studios is not responsible for copyright claims caused by materials supplied by the client or by assets requested by the client without proper licensing.

11. Portfolio Usage and Confidential Projects

Sigma Studios may use completed work, final deliverables, screenshots, short clips, behind-the-scenes material, and publicly released client content for portfolio, website, social media, proposals, presentations, case studies, and promotional advertising.

This right is included as part of our standard pricing.

If the client requires the project to remain confidential, private, white-label, unpublished, or restricted from portfolio use, this must be agreed in writing before the project begins.

NDA-based projects, white-label work, or no-portfolio restrictions may require an extra fee, since Sigma Studios loses the ability to use the work for marketing and future business development.

Once an NDA or written confidentiality agreement is signed by both parties, Sigma Studios will follow the agreed restrictions.

12. Confidentiality

We respect client privacy and confidential project details.

Any private footage, internal business information, unpublished campaign, or sensitive content shared with us will be handled with care.

Both parties agree not to disclose confidential information unless required for project completion, legal reasons, or written approval.

13. Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds depend on project stage and work completed.

If work has already started, the completed portion, planning time, editing time, production time, team cost, or booked resources may be deducted.

No refund may be available after final delivery or once major work has been completed.

For production shoots, cancellation fees may apply for booked crew, equipment, travel, studio, or location costs.

14. No Guarantee of Results

Sigma Studios provides creative media services.

We do not guarantee specific business results, sales, views, leads, engagement, followers, revenue, or campaign performance.

Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including offer, audience, budget, platform algorithm, market conditions, posting strategy, and ad targeting.

15. Limitation of Liability

Sigma Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profit, business loss, data loss, platform issue, copyright claim from client-supplied material, or delay caused by third-party tools.

Our maximum liability for any claim related to a project will not exceed the amount paid by the client for that specific project.

16. Third-Party Platforms

We may use third-party platforms such as Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, Frame.io, WhatsApp, email, payment services, social media platforms, hosting services, or editing tools.

We are not responsible for outages, delays, account restrictions, data loss, or policy changes from third-party platforms.

17. Website Content

All website content, text, graphics, images, videos, layouts, branding, and portfolio items belong to Sigma Studios or the respective rights holders.

You may not copy, reproduce, sell, modify, or reuse our content without written permission.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be posted on this page.

19. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of Pakistan.

Any dispute will be handled in the courts or legal forum of Pakistan, unless both parties agree to another process in writing.
